The amount of **** Ortiz had to take from "boxing fans" for this was sickening.

This is going ring very loud in Ortiz's mind each time Lopez lands a clean left hook. Don't know if an immediate rematch is a good idea. The mental obstacle for Ortiz is going to be one hell of a hurdle.

Wow, it takes an official medical report that states that he had a potentially life threatening injury for you guys to cut him some slack. Wow.

yeah i hope he makes a full physical and mental recovery. I feel bad about giving him **** but it was only because of his history of quitting.

What a ***** for not fighting on to get punched more on the jaw, eh guys?

Anyway, I'm gutted he'll be out for that long. Looks like it’ll be almost year before we eventually see him in the ring again. That’s messed up. He’s already wasted enough time with the Berto bull****, and now he’s gotta’ spend more time inactive.

It could have killed him :/ We wouldn't have wanted that to happen.

He should use the time to look at his camp and get a new trainer. The guy has no defense and gets hit too easy, his trainer isn't helping him improve his boxing skills. I like Ortiz and hail from Kansas I want to see him succeed. He has always put up great fights, but he only knows one way to fight. Go forward even if he keeps getting tagged.

The Dude rarely fights anymore, but when he does he's an accident waiting to happen. That will be his legacy.
    Almost doesn't cut it.

Agreed. Garcia does not impress me at all, and he clearly has done little to address Ortiz's obvious flaws. I think Ortiz is only with him because he wants a trainer dedicated to him alone, so a good replacement could be difficult to find.
