could he pull off an ortiz-lopez type win here? he is a big underdog by the looks of it, but i think he is being very underrated, his resume is better then brooks imo and he has lossses but those were quite early when he was young. He comes from a top camp aswell up in big bear, sparring the likes of gennady golkovin but there are alot of notable names in the camp. Anyway anyone thinking jones pulls off the upset?
He actually sparred with Canelo for his fight against Shane. IMO he's gonna have to ko Brook to get the decision in Sheffield. Just heard from Kell's promoter that after this fight he's gonna face a guy called Saldivia and not the winner of Alexander-Bailey
Kell should smash him no probs then on to Mayweather! I Seriously can't see anyone outside of Mayweather beating Kell at 147lb.
ye hector saldiva from argentina. i actually made a thread when this fight was made that they wont make it as a final eliminator because of him, turns out i was right.
You got to be joking me....Big head timmy, alexander and ortiz put a beating this kid Brook. His lack of handspeed and reach will be his downfall. Haven't truly seen him tested on the inside yet.
big bear is a massive boxing place, id assume they all spar each other up in those mountains. i think canelo lives there aswell during campo right? i know mosley does aswell.
How can this be a serious shout when he's faced no one of note at the weight? Kell has potential but that's all it is until he faces any of Manny, Bradley, Berto (among others) or even Ortiz. Brook seriously needs to step up his level of opponent so we can judge him properly and before he deserves a shot at Floyd or Manny.
Don't hype Brook to much, this guy is Kell's first proper test. its a 60/40 fight is favor Brook. Jones can whack, would love to see a shocking Khan'est KO
Jones is gonna have to go after Brook from the opening bell. Brook likes to make you fight at his own pace , if you look at the matt hatton fight. When hatton tried to let his feather dust hands go brook was forced to give up his ground. Hatton did seem to land some left hooks against brook late in the fight. galarza the part time chef managed to land some sneaky straight right on him. His defense is all that!
Ha ha...galarza man...what a legend? On a serious note,, I don;t understand why they are taking it so slowly with Brook. He's been with eddie hearn for 2 years now and hearn promised him title shot in his first year when he signed a contract. Why don't they just let him sink or swim....and he's calling out Khan like he's some world beater!
