WBC Openly Admits It Doesnt Believe In Unification Fights

    Austin Trout challenges Saul Alvarez to a unification bout the WBC rejects it. Sulaiman had this to say:
    “We do not accept unification, because if we agree we would be losing authority. We are not going to take away the exclusivity because we own the WBC brand.”

    F@ck Sulaiman and f@ck his puppets. At least the WBA supported their fighter when he wanted to step up and challenge himself, and they are almost as corrupt as an organization. The WBC is the most disgraced organization in sports.

    It's stupid to have so many governing bodies. It would **** up other sports if they had them and it has ****ed up boxing.

    That's what I said all along. The WBA have their Super belt to deal with that 'problem' and the WBC just doesn't want it at all.
    It's so hard already to unify this time and age, and those sanctioning bodiesd make it close to impossible. :(

    Guys, this is obvious as to why they don't believe in unification, from their standpoint. Can't knock them, necessarily. They are basically a company, rivals to the other sanctioning bodies. They are saying they believe theirs is the best and the only one that matters, which for them is true. They don't care if a guy has another belt and why should they?

    Because the WBA gets two sanctioning fees then when they create a regular title belt.

    I personally wish Rochiggiani stood his ground and it put the WBC out of business.

    As I said on the two threads about it last night, the WBC is the biggest belt mill of all and has NO room to talk. Period.

    He did they had to file for bankruptcy because of that lawsuit. The courts made them pay him tens of millions of dollars. Unfortunately, to make up for loses and rebuild, the WBC has created more titles and sanctioning fees.
