A little over 24 hours, four years on from the last Great Scottish Civil War.

    Repeat or revenge? :bbb

How did you all score it last time? :think

Whose recent form do you have more faith in?

This should be fun, no? Appleby was involved in a domestic FOTY within the last year and Simpson always gives value.

    ...hello?

Appleby easily beats the 70 year old BBC Correspondent... In nine.

Ah, that brings up an important note in case anyone was thinking about a late stoppage either way.

Unlike their last meeting this is scheduled for only 10, not twelve.

50/50 I think .Appelby Walsh was quality and tbh I think the extra 4 pound will do Simpson good as well . Only 4 pound man but he's been boiling down to featherweight for ages so I think he still takes chin and power up not as if he's giving away lots of weight and he's got the experience. Just hope he can take Appelbys bodyshots .

Can't say I was impressed by Appleby's robbery against Ormond. That said, Simpson's showing a few cracks after a really tough career and likely won't present the same intensity so I can see Appleby edging this.

I was a bit drunk, but I never saw it as a total robbery?

No doubt this is a cross roads fight for both guys, just hoping John gets in the ring with the same intensity he showed before the Selby loss, this will be a cracking fight i expect to go the distance with hopefully John coming out on top.

    Close, evenly matched fight.

I have no idea. Its all on who has the most left which at a push might be Appleby.

Both these guys looked poor in their last fights. They've both been in a lot of tough fights and I don't think either has too much left. Appleby is younger, but is he fresher? Simpson is tough, but he looked to be breaking down against Selby. I'm going for Appleby, but not with a huge amount of confidence.

Appleby should nick this, Simpson shouldn't have moved up.
