Then why don't Canelo fight him since all the other major players have dropped out?

 

I'd actually favor Lara to win.

Canelo is open to the straight right. There's a reason he has yet to face a quality southpaw (or any southpaw at all that I can remember). While he has decent hand speed and mixes his punches well, I'm afraid he's not solid enough in that regard to land a lot against a solid defensive fighter. And it's not like Canelo is versatile or has a lot of tricks up his sleeve. The est way to beat Lara is to neutralize his offense (as Molina did), but I doubt his style would be conducive to that.

 

Canelos is ****. Lara after a methodical boxing clinic. Canelo probably quits the sport in frustration afterwards.

Molina is **** and gives horrible and shitty fights. The fight with Lara was **** on both sides.

Because Lara does have a shot to beat Canelo. Anybody that can move and box can beat Canelo right now, and GB knows it. Molina would also have a chance with him. It doesn't mean they would win, but they could. And since they have no fame or name recognition, that's a bad business move. Lara needs to just go out and fight every chance he gets and he will get his shot if he keeps winning.
