    No. He wanted Tyson rematch after Vitali and retired about two minutes before being stripped.
    Prior Vitali he also gave up his IBF belt rather than fight his first southpaw, Chris Byrd.

    Not rematching Vitali for $45-90 millions is something that he definitely now regrets, as a businessman at least.

    It's is an absolute impossibility to retire someone you lost to.
    Lewis stopped prime Vitali in 6 rounds! Even the corpse of Tyson lasted longer and old shot Holyfield lasted the distance 2 times and wasnt even rocked! Vitali is lucky that Lennox retired and let him have an easy time fighting the golfer and the rest of the bums.

    Great post.

    Vitali retired Lewis. Lewis wanted no part of a rematch even though he promised one and the crowd was cheering Vitali and booing him. He knew he would be defeated.
