Who's record/resume would you prefer to have, Floyds or Mannys?

    Manny's resume is better. Barrera and Morales are better than anyone on Mayweather's resume (besides JMM who Manny also beat).

    Pac fought all the relevant WWs like cotto, margo, mosley and clottey while it was waxing hot back in 2006-2009 while floy was either fighting hatton, on vacation or marquez.

    and did u forget that Floyd fought Mosley first? how in the world doesnt a professional ******* know this? :patsch:rofl

    Your arguments are dreadful considering Floyd broke his retirement before Manny had even fought Cotto so why you've brought up the vacation seems strange and irrelevant. He didn't fight all the relevant welterweights because Floyd was ranked number 1 after beating Mosley and whilst he was wasting his time with Clottey and remaining the number 2 WW at best.

    Also he didn't fight margarito at WW.

    He didn't say he fought them in that period though. He simply mentioned that Floyd was on vacation at this time, or fighting Hatton/Marquez. If your gonna try and pick flaws in posts, at least do it where they've made a mistake

    no, he clearly stated that Pac fought these guys in 2006-2009 while the division was "hot". i corrected him.

    I'd take Floyd's. Pac has the better resume but not by that much and Floyd has the distinction of being undefeated. That carries an aura to it.

    let me rephrase my comment...

    WW was waxing hot back in 2006-2009. the WWs were fighting each other like cotto, mosley, williams, clottey, quintana, margarito, etc. while floyd was fighting hatton, on retiremant or marquez. floyd was a WW since what 2005/2006 and he only took an elite WW in mosley in 2010. pac meanwhile went to WW in dec of 2008 and since fought all the top WW players except williams who already have went up by then.

    so you are arguing that pac didn't fought all the relevant WWs since he didn't fought floyd? this is what i'm saying. pac has no problem fighting all the relevant WW back then. floyd was coming off vacation and decided to fight jmm instead. and we all know all the drama that happened after that. drug test, another vacation and purse splits.

    he fought a LMW margarito weighing as a WW. the ring didn't rank pacquiao as a LMW after that fight.

    I'd rather Floyds for the unbeaten factor, I think if Floyd was top rank he would have faced the relevant heavyweights, also if you actually break down the victories for each (losses on resumes shouldn't count) look at the situation at the time, the fact that Pac has alot better names don't much half as much.

    I have got to say I would rather have Pacs record in the case of people being clueless and studying boxrec.
