you are just doing this so you can indirectly excuse the fraud ****** **** that is Wladimir and Vitali who refused to avenge their defeats it's all good though
The 30s Ray Leonard avenged Duran in the 80s. Holyfield/bowe in the 90s, Pac vs Marquez, etc. All of these rematches have enhanced their legacies. :hi:
that was a 2004 shot past prime old lewis too, Young Lewis would have taken off Vitali's head and vladimir23 would be in denial, probably go ape **** and kill his own mom or something
I take Lennox. Lewis had the range to avoid Wlad's grabbing, the foot work to keep Wlad turning, and a quick 1-2 that would find Wlad's chin. As long as the fight was near the center of the ring, Lewis wins handily. The wildcard, IMO, is that Wlad is pretty effective at cutting off the ring and backing guys into corners. If he was able to back Lewis against the ropes and actually threw a right hand, he could pull off a victory.
He told me the story when this one day (like many days) I was moaning about how much of a **** our boss was. Which he was. Used to be in the army too, nasty evil ******* is what he was. Anyway I was saying I'm going to do this and that to him that the African fellow came out with the above quote. What a guy.
I am very very impressed with Wladimir He is a true champion, I might become a Kbro Fan. And repent for all the hate I had against them
Yes,there was certainly a lot less politics in elite boxing in the 30's than there is now. There was also a lot less democracy(not that there's a great deal now) and a lot more organised crime involvement.See Primo Carnera. Yes,the 30's were certainly the halcyon days.
