Boxing has a bigger following and fanbase, then cricket, rugby, tennis in this country.

But i honestly feel that the elite broadcasters discriminate and deliberately try to ignore the sport and shut it out.

Tennis maybe, don't think boxing pulls in more viewers than Cricket or Rugby though.

BIGGER than tennis i work with who dont like football but will do anything to get home early to watch Murray at wimbers and see the moaning the have because he wasn't on the right court or something its riot I am an electrician who works for a builders firm full of cavemen

 

Yes boxing is bigger than Tennis, do these guys watch the USA open..? Everybody watches Wimbledon, but i can assure you...that the majority then switch off from tennis.

I def wouldn't call myself a tennis fan, but always switch on when Wimbledon is on, mainly due to the amount of broadcast on tv + the newspaper coverage, you can't escape.

Boxing as a participant sport gets an absolute beating off at least 10 sports in this country and as a spectator sport it's probably on par with F 3 and Motor GP . Sad but true as the sport had the potential to be a Saturday Night TV main stay before the promoters killed for the masses .
