weak sauce. at least post up felix savon koing tua in the amateurs or something. i find most (not all) current cuban boxers boring. don't take it personal. it's just how they are brought up. they come from years and years of the amateur style and then when they defect they get sidetracked by the good life living in miami. which isn't good for 3 round fighters trying to go pro.
If they were exciting to watch dip ****.....PEOPLE WOULD GO WATCH THEM. but they don't. Lol So true, they're always butthurt, mostly because no one but they,... actually follow Cuban boxers. I don't think I've ever cared to read an article on a Cuban boxer. Zzzzzzzz
That's a myth , you're just repeating the same mantra . I got some news for you : ELTE CUBAN AMATEUR BOXERS WHO DEFECTED TO THE PRO'S 1-) Joel Casamayor 2-) Yuriorkis Gamboa 3-) Guillermo Rigondeaux 4-) Odlanier Solis 5-) Erislandy Lara 6-) Yoan Pablo Hernandez 7-) Luis Franco Vazquez Juan Carlos Gomez 9-) Yordanis Ugas As you can see from this list only ONE Cuban boxer ( Solis ) has had discipline problems the rest pretty much are having a suscefull career and some ( Casamayor ) even HoF careers . Most of the athletes on that list are already champions or are contenders . You don't know what you're talking about kiddo .
Stop lying to yourself and recognize what we all know : You are Cuban boxers #1 fan , everywhere there's a Cuban thread there you are : trolling , lying , secretely envying your idols . Get a life man .
To Zopilote: True. Most people don't appreciate a great skilled boxer and rather watch a brawl. It's just like in baseball, most fans want to see a bases loaded gram slam but find "boring" a great pitcher who throws a near perfect game. Same thing happens to most Cuban boxers as they are tought and brought up under a very technical and skilled boxing school. That's the way they learn to box and " not fight ", so when they become pros it's very hard to forget everything they learn when they were kids over there. Many Cubans have adapted pretty well like Casamayor, Gamboa, Rigondeaux, Lara, JC Gomez, YP Hernandez but you can still see some of their amateur technique show up once in a while and it's normal. It's great to see Mexican fans appreciate the Cuban skills. Blessings to all the Mexican fans. :good
What the hell? Lmao It's true, all that kid does is vent about Mexicans, every damn time. The only people that ever thought I was Mexican are cubans, all because I call Abril a *****, so if I hate Abril, I must be Mexican. That and people also assume I'm a Rios fan lol. Even though I'm not a fan at all.
wat he said is bull**** bro,..miami is full of black cubans that dont give a **** bout boxing or cuban boxing,...he might b confused cause the best cuban boxers have been the black cubans,...but wat he said is 100% false.
