I think this was an even fight... One thing I know for sure... Oscar said that he was tired as he never fought this way, meaning box his ass off and moving a lot. If Oscar would've fought the way je did against Ike Tito would have KO his ass.

 

this is my first post! whats up ESB? i just re watched this fight the other day, people always say trinidad won the last 4 rounds, i disagree, i had DLH winning the 9th round. i had DLH winning the fight 7-5. it does suck that DLH ran the last 3 rounds but he still dominated the majority of the fight. people bring up the championship rounds, but they were both champions, trinidad clearly won rounds 11 and 12 and those rounds are still only worth 1 point each unless there is a 10-8 round, and i do not believe trinidad did enough for a 10-8 round. the only way to stop this kind of controversy is to have open scoring.

Oscar did some of his best stuff in the 9th round. He figured he had it in the bag after that. He should have if the judges were actually judging :nono

 

Oscar forgot he was "Latino" & not allowed to box, because it's called running if we do it.

I watched a month or 2 ago and agreed with Lederman who i think had a draw

Tito took 1 or 2 of the first 8 then won the last 4, i figured a draw would be fair

Oscar fought such a brilliant fight at times and really really sold himself short by not finishing the fight and not finishing the fight leads to not getting the nod

If Oscar fought round 12 like he did vs Quartey he woulda won
