Have you ever considered the effect of media and $ and basic human prejudice?

I mean one of the greatest pitchers in baseball was from the Negro League that majority of baseball viewers never heard of.

I would bet many of the champions of the past and present would be regarded higher by American media and fans if they where American.

    BTW - Duran.

Look at Ortiz compared to Martinez and Donaire. Ortiz would have been ignored by the US media if he was from Asia or Europe. Martinez and Donaire would get much more attention if they where from the US.

I am not saying America is the only that does this. I mean the Klits are UNDER represented here in the US and OVER represented in Eastern Europe. It is something you should be aware of as a boxing fan when making statements who are "legends" and who are not.
