Interesting thread, I'm saying Spinks, as I don't think Roy ever fought anyone quite like Spinks. If Ruiz could land on Roy, which he did a few times, then Spinks could I would have thought.
Why heavyweight when the more compelling matchup is LHW? HW Spinks. LHW tossup, edge to Jones perhaps
Depends which RJJ u mean, before his reflexes went down the drain, and he started losing to the likes of Tarver & GlenJ, or after? Even before, the only evidence of him against Heavies was v Ruiz, doesn't mean much. Spinks only time at heavy was against I think a prime and ferocious Tyson, (yes he beat pensioner Holmes and the limited Cooney too) and against MT he shat himself in the corner just before the first bell. I'd think Spinks wins, unless they drop some weight and years - obviously the RJ who made Hopkins look silly would have been a very tough oppo.
