I don't think he's bit less mobile. I think he's a lot less mobile now. He cycled away from JMM at every opportunity, but moved much, much less in subsequent bouts against Mosley, Ortiz and Cotto. I think Freddie Roach was right when he said that Floyd's legs were gone. Of course, Floyd says that he stopped running to give the fans a show and the *****s lap it up like hungry homos at a rest stop bathroom.

If Floyd is overrated then that means that your guy Manny is overrated aswell becuase he fought alot of the same guys Floyd did.

Slipping? You gathered he was slipping because he easily beat a future HOF fighter at a division above his own?

This is your idea of slipping?

If he has slipped, its from other worldly ATG status to just being the best in the world right now.

    Big slip.

The guy is 35 and slightly less mobile than he used to be when he was 15 lbs lighter. Big deal.

As for ducked all the big threats, thats just plains stupidity!

    Undefeated prime Corrales.
    Prime Castillo (x2)
    Prime,undefeated Hatton
Slighty past prime De La Hoya
    Prime Judah
Mosely coming off a defining fight. Namely beating the ever loving **** out of Margarito.
    154lns No. 1 Cotto.

Not to mention the many fine fighters such as Gatti, Jesus Chavez, Ortiz,Gennaro Hernandez,Angel Manfredy,Philip Ndou.

Quite the collection of cans.

    Um, he's not slipping.

Granted he's lost some speed and mobility as every fighter would in his mid thirties.

And he's suffered the same decrease in speed that every fighter does with such a weight increase.

What is remarkable is that he has developed, or emphasized, other features of his repertoire to effect the win.

    Floyd is not slipping.

look at the history of boxing, smaller fighters typically are done by the time they are 35. floyd looked human in his last fight and is still 5 times better than anyone else at 147 (yes 147, he aint a 154 pound guy)

explain how beating an old mosley is coming off a defining fight (15 months earlier) but a prime zab judah you left off the fact he was coming off a loss to a guy with 9 losses :rofl

Zab Judah was in his prime? Yes? Ok moving on.

Mosely was at that point considered the man at welterweight. His previous fight was a destruction of Margarito who was thought of as an unstoppable machine at welter.

What exactly dont you agree with?

BTW Baldomir hadnt lost on 7 years ahen he fought Judah. The 9 loss argumnet is a bit specious.

And Mayweather beat him too, add him to the list!

A lot of fighters with strong amateur boxers don't last long. Decades of punishment to the body does that to you.

being in your prime means **** if you just lost....so beating a guy and giving him "loss #2 in a row" isnt something to brag about. (wow, floyd just beat judah as did that guy with 9 losses) :patsch
speaking of margarito who you pointed out smashed SSM, thats the fight floyd ducked when fighting Judah coming off that ****ing loss dummy...cant have it both ways :-(
yeah look at the guys baldomir fought when he hadnt loss in those 7 years :bart he fought 4 guys that were top 20 after floyd and lost to them all. so yes garbage win

The stupidity of posters on forums are no longer funny. Floyd didn't duck a slow, terrible, d class fighter in Margarito...who's biggest wins have asterisks next to them

Floyd is not a young man anymore. He is no longer a lighter fighter so of course he will look and fight differently.

Floyd didn't duck Margo by fighting Zab coming off a loss, don't make things up.

Zab Judah was the undisputed welterweight champion.

Floyd and Judah signed to fight eachother, each already had an upcoming tuneup fight arranged (Mitchell, Baldomir).

    Judah lost.

Floyd & Zab still fought afterward.

Floyd then fought the man who beat Judah (becoming WW champ) Baldomir.
