He arguably beat SRL twice over 12 rounds, who wouldn't he beat over 12 rounds today?

Well, he arguably beat SRL over 12 rounds once when it was called a draw. He got knocked out in a 15 rounder so how is it fair to say, oh well Tommy was winning over 12 so he would have won if it was a 12 rounder anyway. Not only this but the second fight was at super middleweight with both men past their best. Why does a draw (basically a win) against a past prime Leonard Prime suggest no one today could beat him? Hearns vs anyone from 147-160 at this current time probably wins, but to say he'd dominate 147-160 over a period of years is ridiculous. Hearns would get KOed sooner or later and anyone that denies this ain't thinking straight. I'm aware that this wasn't the idea of the thread but I'd just like to raise this point.

Also prime for prime at 147 SRL has already beat Hearns so why anyone realistically picks tommy over ray is either an agenda driven twat or dumb as ****, and I ****ing hate SRL.

Hearns would be undisputed Jr. Middleweight/Middleweight champion.
(Or at best the "Unofficial" champ in either division)

I would add 160 to that list, yes i know he lost to the great Barkley but i think that is only because for what ever reason the blade has his number. he would run into trouble at 168 because he was only a shadow of his old self by then

Tommy gassed against SRL . . . he was winning over 12 rounds and if he didnt lose steam after that he would have won. I was a HUGE SRL fan ( i was a kid so I guess youcould say he was my hero) and I was so upset during the fight because I thought SRL was going to lose the decision. I remember being almost in tears and I was so Happy when he pulled it off late. Everybody knows that Tommy beat SRL in the rematch even SRL said himself.

There is no MMH today (and the lucky blade is not around) so it easy to see how tommy could beat everyone up to 160.
