Derry v Gavin who wins

As I've said to you before, you're deluded if you think this will be anything other than a close fight.

 

Just seen this on sky sports website..

 

This is the best fight of the night for me. Both are great warriors and have a lot on the line in the rematch. I like both fighters and hope the winner really grabs the opportunity this fight will open up to them but I'm finding it hard to decisively pick a winner. Rees has fought at a higher level but doubts persist to me about how far he can go at Lightweight. Apart from Burns, I'd have him top of the tree domestically but I think Mathews can cause him real problems.

You can't ever count Derry out. For all the problems with his nose & chin, he has a great will to win and offensively puts his punches together better than most on the domestic scene. He really has the talent to fight at a high level but his vulnerabilities unfortunately have held him back so far. I think it will be a great fight and surprisingly can see it lasting 12 rounds but I just can't pick a winner. 7/2 is too high for a Derry win for me so I've stuck quite a bit on that.

 

i reallly hope derry brings the belt back to liverpool but rees is a dangerous fighter and if he can slip derrys jabs and get inside quickly i think he could cause derry some serious issues!!
