Lewis won, he won the fight in a legal way. Stop moaning.
Lewis Punches + Vitalis face = damage. Vitali was more damaged than Lewis was.

To the people that hold onto the fantasy that Vitali somehow retired Lewis. Lewis was looking to retire for a while, he wanted Tyson, once he beat him he ha nothign to prove,Vitali was simply icing on the cake.

Lewis is the greater fighter and will always be remember as the greater fighter.

You are judging their energy levels by how Lewis looked when he sat on his stool looking tired, rather than the round they just fought, where lewis was punching and Vitali was clearly gassed?

Lewis would have brutally ended Vitali's career and possibly life by Round 7 or 8 if the fight had continued.

The thing is Vitali most likely was on Peds during that fight as well

Vitali was gone by the end of the 6th. If you can't tell you are ******ed.

Vitali was holding on for dear ****ing life the entire 6th round, if the fight wasn't stopped. He would have been brutally knocked out by the 8th.

I remember the London Times writing "Lewis collapsed on his stool as tired as a harpooned whale".

I remember feeling pretty worried for Vitali near the end of the 6th, then they stopped it. It was a picture perfect stoppage.

 

I was rooting AGAINST Lewis that night and it was crystal clear to me that Vitali was beaten and it was a legit stoppage.
