I had Taylor 7-4 up going into the last, as someone pointed out above the last round would have been 10-7 to Froch, ending in a draw although Taylor won more rounds, but Froch knocked him out. And the Dirrell thing, don't get me started, the only side what can't acknowledge it was close is Dirrell asslicks, I could see my judging being off by a round of two, but even then the largest margin you can give is 115-112, I've seen scores such as 117-110 and **** which is just ridiculous.
this is a childish thread. OP is a well known pavlik hater (evidenced by his very next unsolicited post about pavlik) and this thread has a blatant anti pavlik agenda. it was a competitive fight that taylor was winning prior to being stopped. froch did what he needed to do. if taylor would have taken a knee he probably would have seen the bell and won but it didnt happen. froch won. period.
Chavez Taylor was one of the worst stoppages of all time :huh there was how many seconds left and the Taylor was up and willing to continue
it was a close fight. kelly is usually a slow starter but he actually did well in the beginning and closed well. i think kelly won but i certainly don't agree with 117-111. i've been one of jermain's biggest fans but he frustrates the hell out of me sometimes. talk about someone who had all the tools. prime jermain would have clowned on abraham. nevermind the ko, he was losing on the cards to that caveman.
i can agree with that. and yes i think prime Taylor would spark AA. :hey but yeah, i was a HUGE Taylor fan. i was pissed when he got KOed the first time. i like the way he fought in the rematch. he fought a pretty smart fight and didnt get too reckless. and most importantly didnt gas out. it was very close IMO but i thought he might have edged it, but i definately wont call it a robberry. i think it was the shitty scorecards that pissed me off, really. felt like they pretty much just shitted all over JT's hard work. i give Pavlik his props tho. it was good effort from both.
The first poll option is not the same concept expressed in the thread title, and the thread title is not a mutually exclusive concept from the second poll option. A fight can be competitive with all the rounds going to one guy. Each round is its own thing.
Nah, I think the ref was right. Two seconds or not, Taylor was spent. If I remember right he was pissing blood the next day, and was never the same since.
They are denying Kelly should get a shot against Froch because they really don't have that much faith in Froch. :deal Turden is still smarting that we were right about Abraham so now he suckling on another stick. :rofl
