If Foreman beat Ali and both men's career went the same way, who would be greater?

mentally Young George didnt have it to be one of the greatest, i mean top 5. You need the mental setup as well as the physical gifts, just ask M Tyson.

But add that unbelievable and divinely inspired old George run, puts him firmly in the top ten ATG HWs.

Very good question... Thinking about it, I would have to say Foreman.
Erases a very huge win for Ali, and the fact that Foreman won the title back as an old man is still just unbelievable..

I think that there's no doubt that it effects Ali's resume more than Foreman's, but being arguably one of the greatest wins of all time may drop Ali a few places, although previously mentioned Ali was past his best, so he wouldn't get too much credit for the win.

I consider that Ali's press on ESB is pretty well balanced. He's got his fans,of which I'm one,and his detractors in equal measure.

Question is irrelevant because Ali won. Foreman was a wrecking balls was BigBad Sonny Liston. Ghettos nothing wrong with Foreman's legacy Aliis just much better. No disgrace in that. Ali may be the greatest ever.
