I agree man with dude sayin give the kid some time. There have been way to many young fighters fed to the wolves to young. An its not like the old days where a young fighter can lose and it be a learning experience, if you lose nowadays they just jump to the next fighter with a nice lookin record.

 

What's with the ***gots on here who always side with greed over good fights as long as it's a 'slick' fighter making bank? You're supposed to want to see action in the ring, not people making money they don't really deserve off boring mismatches no one wants to see.

You're not boxing fans if you get off on the purse numbers more than from the actual "fighting" aspect of the sport.

 

Quillin would have been a great replacement for Pirog. IMO he should have taken the fight.

You are probably one of the guys who blasted Bradley for not fighting Khan. Bradley had some "business" issues with old promoter so he didn't take the Khan fight. In hindsight, it worked out for him.

It's not about fighting every Jack Ass that calls you out or offers you a fight. These fighters choose this as a CAREER...and Quillen and his team surely have a plan ahead to further his career, not just make gobblock happy.

If Rubio takes this fight then Kid Chocolate has made a bad move because he is left without a credible opponent and will likely have to sit around or even worse fight Ishe Smith.

I thought he kept himself in shape (his words not mine) so a fairly short notice fight so be achievable I would have liked to have seen him take this I believe if he really believes he can beat Sergio he should have jumped at the opportunity.
