Absolutely unappreciated and underrated in all time history. Aftyer so many defenses and there was always one guy that would say that he was not given a shot like Pinklon Thomas ( even though he wonly defended his title once and lost it to the man Holmes beat by a mile in Berbick), Holmes had to comeback and beat previously undfeated and late starter Ray mercer that way to earn a shot at Evander Holyfield's undisputed HWT Title and last the distance... People have poor memories of the fights he had with Ken Norton, Earnie Shavers, Ali, Leon Spinks, Gerry Cooney... Coming off the floor in the 7th like against Shavers and stop Snipes in the 11th, and many, many guys who would become title holders and serious contenders like Mike Weaver, Bonecrusher Smith, Tim W'Spoon, Trevor Berbick, Carl Williams... Almost broke Rocky marciano's record as an undefeated HWT defending his title if it was not for Michae Spinks ( and he was clearly robbed in the rematch 2).

 

Assuming Joshua can keep from getting KTFO by short, pudgy Rumanians like Nistor.

Being such a big joshua fan you did see that TKO loss he took at the European Championships, right? You also must have seen Mexhidov stun him a bunch of times at last years WC's?
