I have a tough time seeing Wlad losing this fight, but I'm not sold he will do anything quickly. Its certainly not his thing. I can see him being tentative as usual with the southpaw Thompson. I wouldn't be surprised if Thompson sees the final bell, though he may not win more than 2 rounds. Thompson has no chance to outbox Wlad, his only chance is to crack the chin, Wlad knows this too so I fully expect a shitload of clinching, no inside fighting, and way to many lulls in the action.
I'd love to see Thompson take the fight to Wlad and pressure him, its his only chance of winning. Any fighter that doesn't pressure Wlad and throw bombs will be outboxed easily. Will Thompson be the guy that can take Wlad out of his comfort zone? I doubt it.

Not possible RTL pays good money, so an early KO really affects their ROI as they can't make loads of money by showing commercials.

Wlads fights bore the hell out of me. Jab grab hold punch grab hold. He is so damn scared to get hit. He better stay as far away from Magomed Abdusalamov as he can. That man can punch and he is left handed. Rest with ease Wlad wont be fighting him. I heard Wlad is wanting a rematch with Chambers next. There is not excuse for him to keep fighting old guys he has already beat. There is a lot of talent coming up. Heavyweight boxing is about to get fun again. Magomed Abdusalamov is one that can be popular here in the USA. He comes to knock guys out.
