Chael Sonnen imitating Arthur Guseinov and FAILING MISERABLY

    UFC has some bush league strikers for sure. Chael Sonnen failed miserably at his spinning backfist attempt. Chael dominated the first round before he f*c*ed himself up. These UFC C level strikers should really train in Holland against top level strikers.

    Just pointing out some bush league level striking. I was watching the fight with a friend of mine who happens to fight MT, it was pretty funny and embarrassing especially when I was hyping up Sonnen to a guy who doesnt watch UFC.

    I don't think he had any idea what he was doing. Silva was already ducking from his left jab, so why throw the spinning elbow? he missed by at least a foot. You're not suppose to fall after throwing a spinning elbow, that was pathetic. He didn't need to get cute to win the fight.

    Haven't seen replay but i think Chael was stung and hurt before he throw that feable backhander.......... i reckon it was a last ditched attempt than he gave up when he sucked balls at doing it....... he gave up before the knee from Silva.

    It was his head followed by his footwork that failed. If Sonnen did it the hard way instead of the flashy way then he would have won. He dominated the first round and was doing very well trading strikes with Anderson.

    But he failed after being too cute with his punches, maybe wanted a flashy ending.

    Concussed people dont do spinning backfists, most sane fighters who have limited experience at that move wont even dare try it. But maybe Sonnen isnt as sane as most people.

    I even bought it and was rooting for Sonnen to win but was more than happy for Anderson to shut the boys mouth up. Finally maybe we can get some peace and quiet from the trash talking Sonnen.

    pretty dumb comment considering sonnen beat silva 4.5 rounds of a 5 round fight last time, but ya, he's not a top level fighter:roll:

    i hate sonnen but he is a very good fighter

    That spinning backfist was amatuerish and embarrassing. If you are going to use something in a fight, at least practice it beforehand to where you can use it without falling on your ass like an idiot.


    Chael is an idiot. If you are smart, you have a game plan and execute it. Everything Chael should of done needed to be done with the purpose to put him into a better position to get a take down, so he can contol the fight on the ground.There was no point or need to throw that and he lost as result of that.
