Kell Brook Exposed! Will Never Win a World Title

I don't think brook was exposed & shown to be rubbish, but some of his weaknesses came out. The major 1 for me was his lack of inside fighting. He was just holding, pulling opponents neck down, tying up, head locking & running a bit like Khan does.

 

Brook did ok enough to win last night but I believe he is getting criticised because everyone expected him to do better against an unknown fighter.

He really needs to show he can dominate these guys if he wants a shot at world title. His work in the first 5 rounds was exceptional, crisp and sharp punches but then he just switched off.

Brook can improve. He highlighted his need to change his nutrition and be fitter which is good. However the he doesn't really fight like an Ingle fighter at all and they are not known for close range ability. Maybe the odd uppercut but not if someone puts you there continously.

 

Kell doesn't like being hit. Obviously no fighter does, but with Kell I've noticed it a few times in his fights, where he immediately backs off and withdraws when he tastes a bit of leather. Even of he's pounding the other guy and has him hurt, he'll abandon it all for fear of getting hit more himself.

 

He did it in the 10th round I think against Hatton too backed of completely as though he was hurt.

 

Eddie's right, he clearly cares for Brook, and wants the best for him.

brook showed heart to stay up. but have to say would love to find out the outcome if the idiot referee hadnt intervened in the last 20 seconds. he gave kell a good 10 seconds there to recover and jones had to reinitiate and reset his attack.

 

I first noticed it in the N'dou fight.

Problem with us in Britain is that we hype up our sports people to much to early and then throw them in the dust bin when they dont meet our expectations.

Khan had a BIG wake up call but moved to the US and look what he has achieved since then, just imagine what potential Brook has if he does the same.

We just need to get rid of the "King Khan" and "Second Coming" bollocks and just take it one step at a time :thumbsup

 

Too much emphasis placed on the '0' - I'd take Froch's record over Calzaghe's any day.

As it stands right now anyway I think Khan-Brook could very well bore the ****ing pants off me, make me have a stroke, or both.
