So what if Wladimir Klitschko (as good as he is right now) got to fight the Lennox Lewis that fought his big brother? How would that fight go?

I honestly think Lewis would still have beaten him. Lewis was hitting Vitali with some huge shots that I do not see Wlad taking. It'd be competitive, but I see Lewis's firepower being too much for Wlad and would eventually stop him with it.

I think Lewis might win. Wladimir is older and slower now, it's just that fighting against 40 year olds with no chance to win has made him look decent enough.

He is at the stage Lewis was in when he fought Mike Tyson. Fortunately for him, he doesn't have to take on a prime Vitali any time soon.

Lewis would turn it into a brawl, and he would prevail.

Lennox of the Vitali fight wouldn't have made it out of that second round had it been Wladimir. Different class of puncher AND finisher.

Lennox beats Wlad prime for prime, but there are FEW past it heavies who could stop Wlad right now.

    Wlad KO 2 or 3.

Maybe there is something i'm not seeing, but Wlad has never been impressive to me. In respect to beating one of the greats, atleast. Put him in with someone who doesnt already know that he's going to lose(granted, its not his fault there nobody around today) and he's getting smashed.

    Jack Dempsey would smash Wlad

Wlad's got the power to one-shot Lennox with either hand. That axe swings both ways...if either one's getting knocked out in this particular scenario, my money is that version of Lennox is the one getting starched.

Prime for prime, either man winning wouldn't surprise me and I wouldn't bet on it.

Lennox knows how to inside fight so NO.

Lean/Grab wont work on him because he can nail you in the clinch like so:

The only man that Wladimir has stopped in 3 rounds in the past 10 years was Ray Austin. Lewis was likely a class above Ray Austin.

Lewis would have beaten Vlad with relative ease. He would have made it ugly like he did versus Vitali and knocked Vlad cold. Vitali did well because he has a fearless attitude, a better chin and more size than Vlad. I also prefer Vitali's ability to box on the back foot without clinching constantly. Vitali at his best would have creamed Vlad also.

dempsey couldn't pass a jab,he was a sucker for straight punches, which are all wlad qualities, plus didn't actually put pressure on willard
instead he circled around and bum rushed in,we saw how that tactics didn't work for haye who is faster of feet and hands than dempsey
dempsey would circle around and get his head jabbed off,and he would got caught with a left hook or a straight right if he bum rushes like an amateur in.and wlad hit harder than gene tunney
