    Good.

Carson Jones is a very underrated fighter and Brooke came through some tough rounds.

Needs to work on his conditioing though.

Ok fighter. He pulled it out in the end against a tough Carson Jones but just hope the Brits should stop hyping him up more like he is the next big super star!

Brook's conditioning isn't what made him gas. Consistent body work and unrelenting pressure from Jones did.

I rate it as Average to Below Average. He had no clue what to do when Jones kept coming. He never focused on the body to stop him from just walking in. His power doesn't seem great, although he buzzed him a few times. His hands aren't as fast as advertised. Not great punch variety either. Defense is very leaky from any range.

    Very,very average.
Carson was brave but there are trains that can move laterally better than he does.

I wonder how Kell Brook would go against a past prime Judah?

    Average performance.

Dominated for 6 rounds. His technique and combinations were impressive, really controlled things. After the 6th he tired and took some punishment but toughed it out. That heart is a priceless quality to have.

I'll say it again, when your corner's telling you it's all about the first 6 rounds, your performance is going to slump after that. Negative mental conditioning. If Kell gets a few more professional guys in that corner and a conditioning coach to take care of his stamina issues, he'll do good things. Has a lot of the tools needed to be Elite level.

good at the start and **** at the end. lets hope it was a conditioning and preparation issue that caused the second half drop in performance, rather than as a direct result of jones attack.

for the simple reason that if jones can cause him that many problems then hes going nowhere. i suspect this fight could either be the wake up call that he needed or a real shock to everyone involved, letting them know exactly what his level is.

60/40 fight in Kells favour. Both have similar styles and look great when everything is going their way, but seem to unravel fast when someone stands up to their best shots and gives them a bit of resistance (ie Carson and Baldomir/Clottey). Both also pack a very good punch and have decent finishing skills when they do smell blood (Judah has the edge here however). I think that whoever lands big first wins it, and I would tip Brook's youth and size advantage to get the job done.

Brook has never ben in with anyone as tough and with as good a chin as Jones before so this was a learning curve for him to start with. I think it was a decent enuff performance from Kell but he needs to work on his defence and conditioning. He is still a work in progress so Idont think it is right to judge him as if he is the finished article yet.

    I give him a B-

He is clearly a class above Jones, and should not have had that much trouble with him in the second half of hte fight.

However, a lot of good came out of this, as he showed he has GREAT survival instincts, good defense when gassed out, and under heavy fire (he was really rolling with those punches pretty good). . Showed he has what it takes to hang in there, and even win a few more rounds to hold on to a win. . He proved he has the heart, and grit to survive when it gets down, and dirty. .

Now, it was Carson Jones, who only has average power, maybe slightly better. . . So we sitll can't get a good grasp on his CHIN, because he was able to roll with most of his shots, or completely bob, weave, and slip them. . . But we know his chin is AT LEAST "OK."

For a 'world title deserving' fighter he shouldn't have gassed in the 6th and got beat up...

    He needs to improve.
