    the purse was 100 million
    Lewis got 55% and Tyson got 45%
    The fight was on 2 networks PPV (Sho & HBO)
    The fight revenued over 1million buys.

    HW's make the most money in boxing

    They get paid millions for non-title fights depending on how big your name is.

    Yeah Oscar made a cool 40mil fighting Floyd but that doesn't top the amount Lennox made fighting Tyson.

    If thats the right numbers, why did would Oscar make less than Lewis, his fight landed more PPV buys, plus his stock in Golden Boy, should of put him well over the amount Lewis made for the Tyson fight.

    Tyson and Lewis each got $17.5 mil base, then additional ppv income where buys total 1.9 mil ppv buys

    The awnser for the highest basic purse is Tyson, $35 million for the Holyfield rematch.


    De La Hoya got $20-25 million for Mayweather, but the rest was made up of his income as a promoter.


    Tyson has the highest official purse.

    If Lewis vs Tyson had a million ppv @ $44.95 that equals $44,500,000, then the promoters and cable and satelite companies took at least 20% off that, which would make it impossible for Lewis to earn much more than $20 million. Do the math it's quite simple.

    Robbi you got it backwords, you got the right fight but I can guarantee Holyfield got paid $35 million, not Tyson.
