He only did that because Tyson was the only money fight left, and since we're on about facts,it was Don King who he took to court.

Klittards and facts go together like Palestinians and Rabbis.

Very convenient....He's acting like he never was koed by Hasim Rahman. The reality is that he wasn't supposed to fight Vitali back then. Vitali was a replacement for Kirk Johnson.

As a matter of fact , Lennox was also supposed to fight a few months later (the same year) , after the Kirk Johson fight... he had plenty of plans...But when the Klitschko fight was over. He changed his tune. No more plans , and retired.

He was smart enough to retire in time and not take needless risks that would tarnish his career. That's what happened. Smart move. Most fighters don't know when to stop , they never see the warning signs... Kinda like gamblers , they rarely quit while they're ahead.

Calzaghe was also smart to retire in time...

Vitali is a nobody in the greater scheme of things. A supposed H2H monster yet lost to the two best fighters he faced and his resume is terrible. He had his chance to beat the man and failed, and he won't fight the current man because his mummy made him promise not to.

Didn't Lewis's mummy tell him not to fight Vitali again?

    Pin back your ears................

Lennox Claudius Lewis was the best HW champ since Ali . Lennox had one problem MOTIVATION!! he was basically lazy when fighting a guy he was supposed to beat.
This cost him his only two losses against Rahman & McCall. Look what he did to then in the return matches. He DESTROYED!! them.
Lennox had trained for a warm up fight with Kirk Johnson & was barely 80 % in shape to take on a 100% vitali on a few days notice. Name me one other champ who had the balls to take on his #1 contender on a few days notice. Even so he TKO'd Vitali
Lennox is a very rich, content , & happy man today, he retired at the exact right time
If you want to condemn any fighter for ducking a rematch Try Joe Calzaghe. He RETIRED rather than please his fans and rematch Bernard Hopkins at home in Wales.
That was an act of cowardice if ever I saw one

**** 32 pages, It's a legit loss to Klitschko. And a very Valid Response to a rematch. How many fighters over the years have gone on to long (Ali, Spinks, Toney, Bowe etc.) to the point its become detrimental to their own health and well-being? He's one of the few who chose to retire on top and the one who broke the trend of the King of the heavyweights (Louis-Marciano, Ali-Holmes, Holmes-Tyson to an extent) being defeated by their heir to the throne.
