The first time was for forcing Tyson to back out of a rematch. He didn't sue Tyson in the way it's been alleged here.It was a joint lawsuit claiming King forced Tyson not to take the rematch. There was no ambiguity as to who was responsible.

Mercer and Holyfield gave Lennox hell. Lennox was never in any trouble with Vitaly, he handed him a severe beating.

Lennox had nothing more to prove, he was a great champion.

maximum trolling by lewis. i would have love to have seen a rematch, i think lewis would have won. i also think that a two round points lead on the night means absolutely **** all and that the momentum was going lewis way.

one thing that is not for debate though is the plain fact that prime lewis beats the living crap out of both klits on the same night.

    tko6!

Now thats the end of it. If you whipped someone when you jumped off your couch, where does the motivation come from to fight them again?

If you are a pride fighter, there is no pride in the rematch whatsoever.
I always heard Lennox barely trained for that fight against Vitali, which would explain alot. I guess King Khan and others want to ignore that fact though.
    Great post CJ.

They both had the same amount of time to prepare.

Vitali was in training to fight Boswell that same night.

Was Vitali at a career high weight?

Had Vitali been inactive for a year?

Was Vitali 37 at the time of the fight?

    ...exactly.

Vitali had his chance to beat an out of shape, old, inactive Lennox and he couldn't do it.

If that fight had continued it could have been career ending for Vitali.

As it was,his face need SIXTY stitches after 6 rounds, imagine the damage that could have been done in another few rounds??
