This a pretty cynical fight if true. Lopez is way too small.

Lopez is taking way too much risk, unless they settle to a catchweight, say 150, then he will have serious trouble in this fight

Still a better rival than shot to **** Mayorga, though. Like it or not, Josesito is a viable opponent, and he earned his chance by beating Canelo's next opponent. Easy stay-active fight for Canelo, let's just hope they dont try to make it PPV because that'd be utter bs

Lopez' new theme song if that happens

Saul Alvarez's match making is becoming slightly farcical and comical now

They wanted Williams, Kirlkland and Ortiz.

    ASll legitimate,high end fights.

Its not Canelos fault they all fell through.

This Lopez fight sounds unlikely though. Is this confirmed?

No ****! And to think that there was a time that I thought Canelo was better than Chavez Jr. And that Jr. was the hypejob-over protecting clown. Atleast Jr has fought real MW, MW champions, and will be fighting the legit MW king, while Canelo keeps on fighting WW, JrWW and has beens all at 154.

This hatred towards Canelo is ridiculous. Canelo was set to fight Paul Williams and then Kirkland. So he was going to fight lagit guys but the fights fell through at no fault of his own.

Josesito threw a ****** wrench in the whole plan by beating Victor Ortiz.

Williams decided to be a ****** on a motorcycle... Kirkland pulls out because of his shoulder... and people still manage to blame Canelo/Golden Boy somehow.

Now the ******s want him to fight Lara or nothing...

Clueless people who have no idea how to run a business. They are competing vs. a big PPV that night... let Golden Boy do what the **** it wants... that's why you guys are keyboard warriors and Golden Boy is making real money.

josesito is bull****. anyone defending this choice is bs as well.

Lopez is chasing the dollars, I can't really blame him. Lopez should stay at 147 and he has a bright future there.
