Before Haye started his trash talking attack on the K brothers nobody knew who they were in Britain. Now their fights - againts no hoper opponents -are shown on Sky Sports or Box Nation.

It appears David Haye opened the door to the British market for the brothers and they ought to be grateful :deal

Exactly what I was thinking. The Klitschkos are top-notch people, and thankfully, they've been able to exhibit their classiness to the UK people all because of Haye. Even allowing their movies to be premiered here, too. Haye's charm brushes off onto others quite easily, it appears. He's done a similar thing for Chisora - making him a household name in this country.

Haye should consider asking Wlad for 10% of all his future UK sourced income -- Haye worked hard for all that promotion and should be earning his fair share of it.

Haye did for Wlad what Oscar did to Manny.

Oscar was the biggest name in American boxing but was on the verge of retirement and needed someone to pass the the torch on to. Being the businessman he is, he went in the ring and intentionally took a loss in front of a PPV audience of millions (who had mainly paid to see HIM) just to raise the profile of Manny Pacquiao and turn him to a huge star. This is EXctly what Haye did for Wlad.

Wlad had fans amongst hardcore fans but no one really knew who he was. Haye, who had already announced his plans to retire, unselfishly played the bad guy role in the build up allowing Wlad to appear like a good honest guy. Millions would tune in and give Wlad the highest pay day of his career. Then just like Oscar,in the ring David sat back and let Wlad get the better of the fight. the result - Wlad now has a whole new market open to him to sell his fights and movies to.

The only conclusion we can draw is that Haye and Volodameer are top notch bezzas outside of the old squared circle.

that is a ridiculous presumption. When has any fighter ever thanked another fighter for making him more marketable? And why would anyone want to thank Haye for being a loudmouth wiseass?

Please please please give me any link at all to an interview in which any fighter says "thank you for my opponent for making me more marketable." Anyway, Haye didn't do it single handedly. Rather the long list of fallen foes and the fact that if any UK heavyweight (or world heavy weight for that matter) wants to amount to anything today he has to beat a klitschko. All other fighters when coming up against a Klitschko are considered bums either free or post fight. Seriously look at the long list of posts about klitschko opponents. Either pre or post fights there are at least 2 or 3 posts complaining about the bum status of the opponent.

What makes the klitschkos so marketable in any country. It's because any and every country with worthy pros has attempted and failed to beat them and people are vying for a win, they want the klitschkos to lose and their own fighters to win.
