Khan vs Garcia is a perfect example of today's state of boxing...

when people win belts, or in general fight vs **** opponents, you hear people ***** that theyre fighting bums. it's good in my opinion.

 

I dont mind this at all, the kid is challenging himself

so what he loses he bounces back, old greats lost their 0's and came right back

he is young and this fight will give him a wealth of knowledge

Khan looked like **** in his last fight and the blue print is there

Garcia is a fill in and could catch Khan overtrained after having Petersen withdrawn

 

I suppose they weighed it up - they got the chance to fight Khan, who is coming off a defeat where he showed huge gaps in his game, has been in the gym since February and was preparing for a different opponent. They probably think it's a fight he has a decent chance of winning.

 

i was a bit suprised when it was announced i thought they were tryna build Garcia up has their new young star, good fight tho at leat their not scared to face the best

No, your logic is everything that is wrong with boxing. Why would you want him to defend his belt 1-2 times in easy defenses. Why not fight the best right off the belt win??? .
