I like this fight, though. . Why not? Thurman is pretty untested, and unproven prospect, almost at low contender level. . . Punches like a mule, and is a big ass dude. . .


Might as well take the gamble on him making it a good fight (or folding in three), than matching him with K9 (who I would like to see get the payday, though) and getting an almost guaranteed one-sided Canelo UD12, that is ugly, sloppy, and boring. . .

Or a Mayorga who oesn't even have his heart anymore (LOL, faked a broken hand cause he got swiped across his chin by Cotto). . . And already limited skills completely dimished.

 

Thurman, Lopez, Mayorga, Alexander ... those names are all jokers.

I actually like this a lot more than Mayorga, Bundrage or Lopez......Can't see it happening though. I'd be much more interested in this than any of those dudes that we already know fosho that Canelo blows out with ease (maybe not Lopez but he's so small compared to Canelo so maybe).
