It's very good at the minute, we have Haye, Fury and Chisora and then Price who looked brilliaint aswell as being a bronze medalist. We have prospects like Dillian Whyte who I hear good things about and soon we can add the soon to be olympic medalist in young Anthony Joshua.
Great great future. Even if half live up to the hype. I really expect David Price to fight Joshua in 5 years to unify after Wladimir's glass chin finally get exposed again (and it will, once a glass always a glass)
And the Towers who was nearly ko'd by that French guy the other week. Yes i think id would be fun. I like a laugh!:thumbsup
It's a very healthy scene. I think Fury is the biggest personality and personality can go a long way in boxing, HW especially. I doubt he would trouble ATG Wlad too much just now but Wlad won't be around forever.
Have to completely agree with this. Haye was CLEARLY the most exciting fighter I've watched as a cruiser. I was so excited at him taking his high risk attitude, in matchmaking as well as boxing style, to HW to shake things up. He'd win or he'd lose but he would give it a go, fight hard, take on all comers and bring some excitement. Instead he either bottled it, got money hungry, or never had any intention to do anything other than make a name for himself then milk the game for as much as he could. That said, yes the division is in a good state, but I'm not yet sure that Price, chisora and fury are that much better than williams, skelton and rogan where. Maybe this lot are better boxers where as the last generation (cept williams) where more pressure brawlers.
