Hi all, I've been a lurker for a while but wanted to join up and introduce myself.

I wondered if anyone could tell me if anyone in Australia will be showing Haye v Chisora???

I have emailed Main Event and they said no, and I can't find anything on Fox Sports. I've tried the official Box Nation stream and it says it won't be available to anyone outside of the UK.

I'm really at odds what to do now. I am happy to pay for a good quality official stream, but even that doesn't seem possible. I realise that discussion about illegal streams are against the rules so I won't ask, but the crazy thing is it is starting to look like that is the only option now???

Does anyone know a legal way to watch this fight in Australia, as I want to be able to watch it in quality on my big screen TV, not some crappy feed on my laptop.

    Cheers.

Not aware of any legal way to watch the fight in Australia.

Its not televised on Main Event or FOX Sports (usual poor coverage).

Well, is it still against the rules then to discus 'alternative' ways of watching it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm TRYING to pay for it, it's not my fault no one is showing it!

    Yeah I certainly don't disagree.

I wish there was some option for us - legal one that is. Maybe there's a little business idea for a bit of a go getter.

I'd pay (even a small subscription fee if need be) for a decent 720p live broadcast of most fights that we don't get. Unfortunately it's just not an option!

I don't like the way MAIN EVENT AUS treats it's customers, but why isn't their 2 main event channels to accomodate this type of thing.

This is the year 2012 not the 1990's :patsch

Not to mention how it treats our wallets.

Sure there aren't a huge amount of boxing fans in Australia, but who ever is in charge seems to want to make fights even more inaccessible with ridiculous prices, standard def broadcasts (infuriating!!) and opting to play only a handful of what is available.

It's almost impossible to follow the sport in Australia without a computer.
