Let's see. Ruiz got knocked down and out by Tua, knocked down by Golota and knocked down by Haye. All proven punchers. I don't think he went down from anyone else's punches. I vaguely remember something of the sort in his fight against Toney but I'm also remembering it was a balance thing with Toney stepping on his foot and hitting at the same time. Chisora hasn't yet been put on the seat of his pants in a boxing match but I thought he was visibly rocked by a Klitschko right hand in round 2 or 3 of their fight. Other than Klitschko he hasn't fought any real hitters plus Vitali is not much of a one-hit murderer himself. So Chisora can be rocked and that means Haye can at least hurt him with his power, if not knock him down or out.
Chisora looks like he has a decent beard deffo better than Ruiz I'm almost certain That being said I dont think he has the power to command Haye's respect and for that reason it will either be a one sided beating for 12 rounds or an early KO if Haye really goes after him as he suggested he would in the conference Really looking forward to this fight. Anyone know who's on the undercard?
^ Don't feed the troll Anyway I personally think Chisora has a better chin. John Ruiz was hurt against Roy Jones jr who's basically a blown up middleweight
Chisora took winging L hooks from Helenius and a few solid R hands early in the first and kept his balance. Granted, any number of those shots wouldve knocked Ruiz out. And Helenius is the hardest puncher Chisora has yet to fight. Add to that that while Chisora was fat, likely stoned or hungover, he went 12 with Fury taking all Tyson could dish out. Chisora wins this going away.:deal
Is this a joke? Ruiz's entire huggybear style was predicated on hiding his shaky whiskers, while Chisora appears to have an iron jaw.
Ruiz is a seasoned vet, whereas Chisora hasn't really fought the very best fighters yet. Once he's fought Arreola, Wlad Klitschko, Adamek, etc, and come through them fights unscathed, then it'll be safe to say he's got a better chin than Ruiz. But as of right now, his chin hasn't been fully tested yet. We will all see on Sat night whether his chin can hold up against a banger.
Ruiz had a good chin unless facing a super puncher like Tua. Haye is not a super puncher and need 9 rounds to get the REf to stop the fight with Ruiz on his feet. Dereck has one of the best chins in the division. Haye is ****ed.
Chisroae already fought Helenius and Vitali and Fury and didnt get hurt yet. Haye does not hit as hard as Helenius.
