Nacho Beristain is the most accoplished. Also, Pedro Díaz impressed me, he turned Cotto in Cotto 2.0 in record time (but Steward contributed a bit).Odlanier Solís, trained by Díaz, was doing very well in the first round against Vitali until the knee injury.

I think the sign of a great boxing trainer is the knowledge he has and how he can relate it to his fighters. For me it's Nacho and it's not even close. I think he's the last of the throw backs where they TEACH boxing and isn't just a glorified mitt man.

Freddie Roach has two main fighters and they both have the exact same flaw and weaknesses from technical standpoints. And the exact same strengths.

She isn't out there trying to build a world class stable of fighters. Mostly she's working with local kids to keep them busy and out of trouble.

Orignally she wasn't training Krikland, Pops...the guy who owned the gym and was training Ann...was training Kirkland. Pops got too old and asked her to step in as the trainer with Pops supervising.

Still... They focus on hard work, conditioning and going 150%, balls out warfare.

Ann does the work right alongside the other fighters. She could probably make a comeback and win a world title today if she wanted.

****, she could probably whip half the mens Jr. Middleweight division by herself.

    Check this **** out:

Hunter followed Beristein for me. I love subtle footwork, pocket fighting, and counterpunching. To me, those are things that are taught.

    Beristain for me.

There aren't any ''amateurish'' flaws with any of his fighters.

thanks for the vids. she is a role model for those kids and they seem to feel that. you dont need super star names to be a great trainer. kirkland already surpassed expectations by beating the favourite angulo. she isnt no nacho, but still a very good trainer.

Whichever has the best fighter, they are all really good, when separating this level of coach, it comes down to which fighters go out and perform most consistently.
