Honestly, I really wanted him to beat the **** out of Food Stamp Toney. I don't get why Adamek and his promoter had to cave in and listen to the masses, it's idiotic. You're a fighter, forget about what people think about you and just make your own decisions. ****ing up that ******ed and deluded mess would make most boxing fan's day anyway.

I would of liked to have seen the fight and Toney needs the money

might have been a good fight. Sometimes an old fighter has one last great performance left even after a whole bunch of lesser ones.

really? ****ed up as Toney is. he's still human, and he shouldn't take another beating that might possibly kill him

Adamek should fight in the IBF tourney, which he has a good chance to win, fight Wlad and then hang em up

    :nono:nono Two things awesome.......

First......Adamek does NOT have the power to so much as stun James Toney.

Second.......Do you really wanna see Toney leaning, trying to counter a guy who can only potshot him to a win?

And third, I guess, if Adamek so much as tried to do as you suggest, and **** Toney up, he'd have to nail him with a barrage of shots from the start of the fight, and that of course would play into Toney's Cping, and in the evt he did do that, he'd likely be KTFO himself and set his own career back 3 fights.:rofl:rofl:rofl

Terrible news. I was looking forward for this fight.

I guess Adamek realized that Toney would be too dangerous for him

you gotta be a dickhead to have wanted to see this one. toney can still earn money to pay off his debts and retire by 3-4 more fights vs low level opposition without further embarassing himself and taking unecessary damage as he's shot but shot toney can still beat c level fighters as evidenced by his win over gunn....adamaek is B+ though and has speed and that's just too much for Toney at this point.

Risky fight for both, esp Adamek since Fury's biggest detractor is his chin, and Adamek won't be able to touch it let alone dent it.:think

No, good on Adamek for coming to his senses.

This fight would almost universally condemned when it was put out, so why on earth should anyone be mad at Adamek now for not letting himself be seen as a total joke?

Feed Toney to Lebedev again, if you want to see a real beating.

Boxing is about entertainment. This is what Tomasz states himself, he is there to put on a good fight for the fans. If fans don't want to see the fight (Which many did not want to see) then it shouldn't go on.

The IBF tournament is much more interesting
