What are your thoughts on Kell Brook...is he a Serious Contender?

    I have seen his last 5 fights including the Carson Jones fight which i am watching now (currently in round 7). And I have yet to see anything from Brook that makes me believe that he is "The Real Deal". I believe that once he steps up versus a contending WW or even another "up n' coming" fighter / prospect, he will crash and burn...HARD!!!

    In time he will be. He might lose soon, though. As fighters do such as Amir Khan. I think he won't reach the levels of Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao. But he should have a decent career. He'll get the Khans level and not go higher in my opinion.

    Wow....Just finished it. Brook's face looks like a Tampon, against Carson ****ing Jones. SMH!!!

    i watched ringside last night on Sky and his promoter Hearn was being really honest about Kell and saying if he wants to be a world beater, he needs to start preparing like one, because he hasnt been. Basically a kick up the ass on national TV. Hearn also said he isnt ready for a world title fight, and he isnt. I reckon if he has 3 or 4 fights against hard opposition who will keep coming for 12 rds-like the top Welters do then yes i do think he can become something really really good. Its upto him now though and there is a danger he falls short of his potential. In the Carson fight he ran out of steam after 6 and everything fell apart, we need to say if that can be rectified.
