Mike Jones Post Bailey fight

Mike Jones has a Glass Jaw. Accept the fact and move on.

 

Anyone saying Mike Jones has a glass jaw because he was stopped by ****ing Randall Bailey is just trolling as we all know.....

 

thing that annoyed me was the lack of output, he could have beaten bailey out of the fight imo

 

He got hit by exactly two flush punches and they knocked him spark out. Sorry, but I don't give a **** how much power you think Bailey has, he hit Cotto (who does not have a great Chin) flush more than twice and never even had him reeling. Jones was down on the first punch and wallowing in a sea of Shattered Glass on the second. His Chin is a disgrace to Boxing.

 

Like I was saying when he fought Bailey."Give this kid steroids". Because I felt sad for him in that fight.

Mike Jones is nothing. A boring pillowfist and a TR hypejob.

 

I've always been a fan of Jones but his fights aren't fan-friendly. Now he gets ko'ed by a faded Bailey I think he really has his work cut out for him to get back to where he was let alone move foward.

It will be interesting to see if Top Rank puts him straight in with a good fighter or will they give him a couple easy fights to ease back into things.

He's 29 which isn't old but he's probably at his physical peak so I don't think he has too many years to make another run or two.

People on here write fighters off after a loss way too easily, almost every good or even great fighters has lost a fight or two, but I get the feeling they may be onto something with Jones. I would like to be wrong but I think Jones's career has already hit its high point and he either stalls or goes downhill from here.
