    The big question is:

Once the Klits are gone, will the top fighters actually fight each other, instead of padding their records with bums, hoping for a huge K2 payday?

-Or will it be business as usual?

    No they didn't

Pac and Manny didn't clean out WW together either, they are two diff people

    Get it through your head

All past champions who cleaned it out did it on their own, they did not fight half of the available fighters and have someone else fight the other half

If the Klitschko's retired today, the division would be much more competitive. Unfortunately, that's only because the other Heavyweights are all equally mediocre.

We could get some good, equally-balanced fights but they just wouldn't be of a very high quality.

Screw the belts they mean nothing at this point. He should not have fought Mormeck and Thompson. They were bull**** fights and you know. But Wlads fans seem to enjoy him fighting easy non risky fights. But everyone else in boxing is sick of him and his easy fights. Now Vitali is getting just as bad. I've never seen a time when someone can hold on to the belts and fight non risky fights. Us boxing fans want to see Wlad in with someone that can hit him back. We all know what happens when he gets hit.

yes boxing is not a tag team sport...... but there is always an exception to the rule....

the reality of the situation is that wlad and vitali are BROTHERS... and its understandable that they won't fight each other.... thats it....

    Are you that thick?

Thomspon won consecutive fights and got a rating. The IBF then went from #1-Potvetkin thru #11 Rossy to find 4 WILLING participants in a tournament. Thomspon won his fight and Chambers passed on the eliminator due to injury. Wlad fought the best man the IBF had to offer.

However, only 4 months prior, Wlad fought Mormeck as a "voluntary" defense in which Wlad went thru the WORLD rnakings, aside from Vitali, and offered the title shot. Potvetkin, Arreola, Fury, etc etc etc.....all declined until Wlad reached #13, Mormeck who accepted.:rofl:rofl

I like American fighters as much as the next guy, but Arreola is likely our best guy with Mitchell closely behind. Mitchell was unranked at the time, and Arreola TURNED it down.

Yes, HW boxing will get hot when the K2 retire, but not because the K2 are avoiding the best challengers, no. Quite the contrary. Instead, the division will heat up becuase the best challengers will STOP avoiding the champions.:rofl:rofl:rofl

Brothers retire = HBO can pump up the young american heavies without the risk of ever facing a Klitschko..........suddenly the division will be hot and stacked = HBO agenda/business

it would be nice if HBO or Showtime invested in the top guys to fight each other instead of bitching about the division year after year

The thing is that all those wankers moaning about the Klitschko dominance ain't boxing fans at all. These ****s want to see circus to be entertained instead of appreciating figthers' skills. Miserable twats.
