Nice showing by Jose Luis Castillo, Best I saw in years, Whats Next?

    JLC looked good tonight verses Ivan Paproca ( 15-1-0 Pre-Castillo fight ) on FNF. He really looked great early when he badly hurt him in Round 1 with left hooks and then another one of the left scored a KD late in RD 2 on my card giving him two 10-8s straight verses a solid opponent, Castillo continued to land the better shots throughout, although Paproca upped his workrate in the mid rounds, Castillo busted up his two eyes, looked a little like Pac-Margarito. very busted up the fight was stopped after RD 8.

    No, This isn't prime Castillo hypeheads, I can't even see him beating any of the titleholders at WW. Although I will say Castillo has looked like cow **** over the last few years, And this is prolly the best he has been in a while, Maybe he can beat a few quality opponents before retirement, But taking this nice win as a solid way to walk away is good with me too.

    So whats nexts for El Terrible Castillo? Poll on it's way.

    The nursing home, against any real top ww he's done and Castillo wants to fight the best out there

    Hmmm... maybe a crossroads fight with recently KO'D Mike Jones? I was actually more impressed with his opponents' heart. The guy didn't give up.

    You know what fu*k it I say take 1 final big fight then retire, I was impressed tonight. It makes me want to go rewatch Corrales-Castillo 1 again...

    That's his best chance at a major belt, yeah. But people are lining up to fight Paulie, nothing motivates fighters like a perceived weak beltholder.
