I'll admit that I'm not the biggest Tony Bellew supporter, but I don't think that he's rubbish either. I think that he's got a future, how bright, not certain, but he definitely has a future as a professional boxer.

Tony Bellew recently gave his thoughts on Nathan Cleverly's statements re. a rematch. He also discussed who he'd like to fight next and gave some insight into what makes him tick. Re. the Cleverly thing, there's an obvious element of "he said, she said," but at least they're talking about it.

Here are links to the two related articles. One's the straight forward interview and the other one's sort of a 'who is Tony Bellew.'

He needs to shut the **** up about Nathan Cleverly...

Cleverly beat Bellew at his own game in his home town. He needs to concentrate on himself, fight outside of Liverpool for once in his life. Get around and enjoy boxing, and his life.....

The Nathan Cleverly match will come in the future....

"Bellew brings more excitment than Nathan Cleverly, in terms of his image and personality and aura! But their on a similar level ability wise"...

I think Tony Bellew should just fight afew contenders, and land a shot with one of the big boys.....

    Dawson or Cloud.....

All these bellew supporters make me laugh he hasn't done anything but lose to a paper champion in his own backyard, and ppl come on here claiming hes going to light the division on fire. he's 30 years old in his prime and he cant beat cleverly in his home town says allot

Tony is a tough kid and full of self belief, every fighter has limitations one way or another but I think he is entertaining to watch, and with Eddie Hearn behind him the exciting fights should come.

Tony is one of many fighters that are too inactive , i know the political situation is the cause but it matters not , these are years he isn't going to get back , i sincerely hope this issue is put to bed and he's out soon

Isn't he about 28 or 29? Hopefully gets the VVarren saga out the way and can crack on with his career before it's too late

Im not absolutely sure why people are telling him to get over Cleverly , yes i agree he lost the fight , but its not like Cleverly is on his world domination tour is it ??? , Nathan is doing nothing and Tony is doing nothing why hasn't the fight been made ???

As we all know the fight is dead but it should of been made and Bellew had every right to sing from from the rooftops that thats the fight he wants , they are / were under the same stable FFS !!!
