:blood I think Arum needs to retire. He's losing his touch significantly. In the past, Arum could trick the public and manipulate them easily with the deceitful crap he does. Now he's becoming very obvious to everybody except for a group of ******ed fans. How dumb do you have to be to admitting to duck another fighter. And now he's suddenly ready atsch. I'm sure Sergio's age has nothing to do with that either. This content is protected And people still think the fight with Mayweather hasnn't been made because of Floyd
hey, i was just visiting Top Rank's site and checked out their fighters... Sergio Martinez is one of the spotlighted fighters! Since when Martinez get sucked into Top Rank?
I don't see the problem. He didn't think his guy was ready, and now he's insulating Jr. from criticism by taking all the blame. That's what a good promoter does. The fight is happening now, and it's bigger than it would've been before and seen as more competitive than before. Bob actually got this one right.
I can see how it makes sense here and also it gives the fans a perception that Sergio is a great fighter that needs to be feared (which is true). I just don't think it gives Arum a good rep.
Arum's just trying to be funny, but he's clearly stating the truth and what we all knew anyways. CHAVIT JR., up until recently, and it still may be the case, was seen as a prospect - protected and a work in progress. Leave it to a ***** to make a troll thread. "Yes, Manny Pacquiao, you're next." Floyd (April 2011) "I never said Manny Pacquiao was next. Don't put words in my mouth." Floyd (May 2011) :rofl:roflatsch
