he should retire. Maybe fight in the amateurs as that's all his patty-cake style is good for.

I think too much work is put into his conditioning, and not enough is put into boxing ability.

All the talk is strength coach and conditioning blah blah blah, but they never question his handling in terms of his boxing skills.

Amir Khan has reached his zenith. He hasn't got the brains to benefit from his natural talent and athleticism. He's made his money, he's had a good career. He should retire - or at the very least have a long time off!!!

He was careless. In the Peterson fight I thought he was so close to getting hit clean with his chin up and just standing there when he was punching. How could this not happen. Freddie Roach is a nice guy, but he is overrated as a trainer. He just has good fighters who join him.

khan speed dont mean **** when someone can still counter punch him, block and parry his shots. people say he's fast but i call him hyper and he flurries more then throwing actual real combos. and its not roach, he was koed before he went to roach.ill say it again

khan style is his style and not matter the game plan he fights the same damn way. jumps in and flurries and then jumps out and some bull **** boxing in between.that did not cut it with peterson and damn sure aint cut it with garcia.

it is what it is when talking about khan. there is not secret into beating him, its either you can beat him or you cant. hes not the best in his divsion and never was, always top 5 maybe 3 in my book.

Agree with this. I thought Khan seemed nervous aswell as he was coming into the ring, despite the fact he did not allow cameras in his dressing room which i found strange, something was wrong and Khan tried to be greedy with his shots and box wild but was caught happens every time.

Yeah, guy is incredibly athletic but flawed. I was telling my brother that Garcia was in it because he was beginning to time him. Khan just flurries like a mad man with his chin stuck in the air. He literally has no defense. His offense is his defense. His footwork is the last extension of his defense. Flurry with speed on the outside and basically run. He's just incredibly flawed and sort of has generally gotten away with it because his athletic gifts are often overwhelming to his opposition.

Khan is an athletic fighter, that's it. He beats you on speed and reach, but he's not that better skill-wise. Some athletic fighters has made a great career out of it, but on the top level is always where they falter.

You can't start teaching him to fight on the inside, because he's not that kind of fighter. He's not tough like Rios or Chavez Jr. His chin is weak, so the only way to train him is always fight on the outside. When he decides to be brave, that's where his trouble beings.

Mentally, Khan is just not very strong. When he's in trouble, the energy drains from his body and you can't teach that. He gets nervous too quickly and never lets up.
