    Very happy for Garcia, a little sad for Khan though, he had a great following, and is good for boxing. Anyway lets talk about the commentating or should I say Cheerleading tonite. Jim "bang bang" Lampley was sucking Khan off tonite, the first round Khan came out fast and did nice work and Lampley went wild BUT when Garcia had his moments (which were quite often), they were ignored this was a disgusting pattern up until one of his moments produced a knockdown. Listening to Lampley commentate on the radio, you would think this was a Mayweather/Gatti beatdown which it wasn't, Garcia was never being blown out, he was constantly getting to Khan but it was all ignored, until one of his shots put Khan down. Had Garcia not KO'd Khan and won a close fight you know what would've happened.

    Point blank, Lampley is NOT a commentator, he is a cheerleader who has ZERO credibility IMO.

    I think you're pretty off base on this. I have problems with Lampley's cheerleading myself, but not in this fight.

    While he did seem to be a Kahn fan (why not?) he noted Garcia's good shots quite a few times during the fight. Watch it again and you'll see.

    Brit announcers were so awful in this one. Watt openly said he hopes Garcia doesn't land hard shots on him. Woops way to jinx it.

    Nope he was cheerleading UNTIL khan got knocked down, first round was close he made it sound like Garcia was being completely dominated, Steward was really the only one giving Garcia his due. Lampley is nearly as bad as Arum and Sulaimon with his hardcore dick riding.

    So you are not gonna mention Bayless saying the 8 count like 3x, and then basically standing in front of Khan protecting him and giving him a standing 15 count after the first knockdown

    Agenda's definitely, it's too obvious these days, HBO doing the bidding of top Rank and Golden Boy, letting them fix and stage matches, bad decisions, crooked judges, horrible reffing, and now ref's protecting fighters from ko, all while HBO stays mum and act like we are dumb.

    Yes You are right, the fight should have been stopped AFTER THE FIRST KD.

    Lampley is a POS Cheerleader, if you had Pac beating Bradley thats fine, but if you really think Pac won eveery damn round, you have to be blind, same thing tonite, round 1 was close but Lampley is trying to act like Garcia is getting blown out, disgusting.

    You;re right. Bayless did give Khan an inordinate about of time, or so it seemed, after the first knockdown.

    :deal The counter punches were not commented on by Lampley. Khan kept being mentioned as it is their way with the fighters they favor.

    Agreed. Didn't have any more of a problem with Lampley tonite than I usually do.

    I have to agree with this, Khan definitely had not recovered and Bayless let him off the hook. He never even raised his hands.

    That said, his mistake was our gain because the next round was one of the best rounds in boxing this year. VERY entertaining.

    I gave Khan the first two rounds and it did look like the fight was headed in his favour

    Garcia was throwing wild reckless shots and all credit to his dad, he told him to tighten them up and thats what gave Garcia the Knockout

    Khan was getting caught with counters from the very beginning, the 1st round was 50/50, I thought Khan won the 2nd but again he was getting caught, he was NEVER dominating the way Lampley and even Kellerman tried to say he was. there were times when Lampley would credit Khan while Garcia is the one actually landing.
