Khan just wanted to show the world that he had no weak chin anymore by standing in front of Gracia and kept trading punches in spite of being knocked down twice already. How stupid! He should have known what he needed to do in that serious situation. Anyway, I didn't know why Bayless stopped the fight when Khan stood up and could still answer his question.
Yes - http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=417179 http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=417225 Edited to add - Boxing is a serious business. Khan was hurt and allowing him to continue would've jeapordize his health. Also, Bayless gave him a nice long count on the first KD.
No, Bayless should have stopped the fight after the first knockdown. I thought it was kind of a long count and someone said Bayless gave him 18 seconds. Don't try to blame this on Bayless.
Sorry, I didn't see your thread in the first place. But we can talk about how stupid Khan was to keep trading punches while he didn't recover, OK?
Khan should have made himself look more game to continue if he didn't want it stopped. Not just stand there like a sad sack and offer a forlorn "Yes" and shake of the head whilst nearly bursting into tears. Raise your hands or something and show some intent.
Yes, he could have ended the fight after the first KD, Khan had a long count and still wasn't right at the end of it.
