Whatever man, to me he seems like a good talented exciting fighter who has some SERIOUS holes in his defense. He has **** recovery too.
JT was a beast bro. he downed iron chinned Froch as well. but just like Khan, he has chin issues and he fades. Khan is good fighter, but there is no denying that he has chin issues. u see every time he gets hit clean he stumbles a bit. seems like that is going to be problem for him his whole career. he doesnt have the devestating power to bail him out, so he has to run and throw flurries to buy time. seems like it only takes one big punch from a big puncher(Prescott, Maidana, Garcia) to put him on ***** street. he really needs to step up his defense and survival game if he wants to make it. just my opinion tho.
Khans chin isnt the best but he is not a hype job. After the Prescott fight he was. It since then he has gone on to prove him self as the best in his division bearing timmy
Dude when someone is built up like Khan was and consistently showing frailty can you blame people for writing him off?
Khan himself has said that he wanted to retire early. So go ahead, or not. I thoroughly enjoy seeing guys go upside his head. These are not blind, lucky punches. He has no defense, and apparently is easy to hit.
[qte=Xplosive;13347876]Khan is nearly 26. He's no longer 20. He's not changing at this point. His groupies need to accept that.[/quote] Khan was too arrogant looking ahead of Garcia and on to a Mayweather fight. He was saying that he was going to knock out Garcia early since he wasn't getting paid overtime for the fight and look what happened. I guess Garcia felt the same way about the overtime statement .
The point im making is that in no way should Kahn call it quits. He does not take a big shot very well i'll admit, but he is willing to fight every one and makes for an exciting fight and is a big draw. there is no reason for him to have to hang up his gloves.
He should not hang em up yet, but he has to make plenty of changes before stepping up to the elite level again. Different trainer, strength & conditioning trainer, change his fighting style and fight maybe 4 fights against c level opponents to get his confidence back.:good
well he shouldnt quit if he actually loves the sport. just sayin HBO needs to stop shoving him down our throats so much. put him on undercards or something. i liked the fact that he had no excuses for losing like he usually does. that was good to see.
We all saw what happened. He got cocky and Garcia took his head off. Making excuses would have just made the backlash from the critics even harder on him. .....Then again.... Bayless might just have a Gambling problem.:yep
Khan looking good, and in control of the first few rounds. It was looking like he was gonna stop him, is what I was thinking. Then BAM he's down and doing the funky chicken. Aww man, not again. For a moment in the last round I thought Khan had recovered and looked steady again, but then he got caught again. Fair play to Garcia, still don't rate him too much, but he's got some power! On the upside, won some more vcash on the fight and the Haye fight
