So Boxing fans? We all know that Haye has been ridiculed in the past for laclustre performances and most feel as though he can talk better than actually perform, and after what some would consider a disappointing performance against Wlad combined with poor post fight excuses, do you think that David Haye has now finally made an impact on the Heavyweight division and should now warrant a fight against Vitali? Or do you think Vitali will want nothing to do with David after tonights performance? Or perhaps you feel that David beat a relatively inexperienced fighter and still has no place within the top fighters in the division and needs to further prove himself?

    Thoughts?

Haye would never have fought Chisora is he wasn't 100% sure he'd beat him

Props to Haye and Chisora. Haye showed great power and has an arguement to be No 3 in the Heavyweight division. Personally would like to see him face Adamek and Areola then call it a day.

Haye is more deserving of a shot against Vitali than Charr but at this stage of his career Vitali can pick who he wants and when has boxing been about getting what you deserve.

I think he cemented his power.

as far as I can remember, Delboy has never been down before Haye. Something Vit, Helenius and Fury couldnt do.

I bet Boente is abit nervous now thats for sure.

I picked option 3. Haye definitely impressed me with the stoppage over an opponent that I considered a solid challenge in the division. I just wish he'd fought more like that during the last three years of BS and broken promises.

I'd still like to see him in another few tests, maybe against Arreola (whom he'd beat) or Helenius (whom he'd also beat but which would give him some decent preparation against Vitali). Fights against Povetkin or even Adamek would be entertaining if he can make them happen, though they wouldn't really be competitive.

As for whether Vitali would want to fight him now, I have my doubts, or at least I don't think Bonte would be too keen. Vit's retiring soon anyway, and shouldn't really feel pressured into accepting a Haye fight if he wants to go off and do his own thing. Would be a wicked fight of course, but I'm not holding my breath for it.

    Bonet's a flip-flopper like most managers.

I agree with a lot of what you've said, but Vitali put so much pressure on Lewis for retiring without a rematch when LL was obviously past his best, he needs to put up or shut up.
