He really is a waste of natural talent, he may not be the best boxer in the world but he has heaps of natural athleticism, most boxers would kill for that hand speed. He might not be the most skillful but he has pretty good offensive boxing and I think if he had a good chin it'd be a whole different story.

    What say you?

I can kind of see what you mean Matty, but I think it's time people realised he doesn't seem to be hurting people the way he used to.For me,he doesn't have elite power at 140.
But yes,his speed is superb, for a minute I thought he was going to put on a real marker of a performance.
But he's not hurting people. At least the ones who really matter.

Just a discussion by the way, I don't even particularly like Khan. I thought he'd win but I was rooting for Garcia.

    Chin and power.

He can always work on his defense and in-fighting, but he can't do a thing about his chin or power.

Imagine Floyd with 1 punch KO power in each hand.

    we can only imagine

    TKO4 Khan

  7. Still one of the most dangerous guys in the division and cant see him ever losing a fight on decision. Peterson score was robbery imo

He'd still struggle at the top level. With his shocking inside game, poor defense and not great power he could be exposed a bit like he was against Peterson

Yup, if had a reasonable chin it would make him untouchable. But then again if Aunty had balls she'd be my uncle. It really is a shame.

Like stevebhoy87 says he would probably still struggle at the top level but I think with a good chin you would see Amir as something of a fan favourite action fighter. Which he seems to think he is

if khan did have a decent chin with his hand speed he could be one of the top 10 fighters in the world, but when anyone with half decent power hits him clean he turns to mr jelly legs

    Yup.
All he seems to be able to do is fight at arms length straight down the middle.
He has a completely allergic reaction to wide looping shots that take ten minutes to arrive.
Feel a tad sorry for him this morning but it's not looking too good.

Nah, I'd say he cant be out boxed, so solid chin=untouchable.
